Students from Mulberry School for Girls and Mulberry Academy Shoreditch welcomed the opportunity to ask the seven-time Formula 1 world champion, Sir Lewis Hamilton, a question during a virtual Q&A session.<\/p>\n
The YouTube video was released across social media platforms by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team during the same week Sir Lewis conducted a round of interviews to promote diversity in motorsport and to share the findings of a report by the Hamilton Commission, an organisation he set up to improve the representation of Black people in UK motorsport. In one interview, Sir Lewis said that helping motorsport become more diverse will be \u201cthe most valuable\u201d thing he has achieved in his career.<\/p>\n
\u201cI look back at my young self and wish it was different and I want to be a part of that change. If I can change that, it would be the most valuable thing for me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
