PRIMARY SCHOOLS ENJOY BENEFITS OF MULBERRY STEM ACADEMY ROADSHOW

Hundreds of 8-9 year old children in Tower Hamlets primary schools are experiencing the Mulberry STEM Academy Roadshow. The planned events are aimed at developing children’s interest and enthusiasm for Science, Technology and Engineering.

During the day children are taught robotics including programming a robot to talk, move, dance and light up. The activities also include the CREST Superstar Awards, which involves making an elastic powered moving reel, designing a raft and building an aerodynamic kite.

Children are rewarded with a Mulberry STEM Academy water bottle, badge and a driver postcard from Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix Ltd.
