Engineering lab close to completion
We are really pleased with the progress towards opening our Mulberry STEM Academy engineering lab, located at Mulberry UTC. The lab will be equipped with brand new machinery, including lathes, mills, grinders and welding stations.
It will enable us to deliver exciting engineering projects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 – from propeller-powered cars and triangle truss bridges, to scribbling doodle bots and bioengineering activities, like building heart rate monitors and our first Greenpower scratch build car.
