Year 11 sail through model catamaran challenge
Our Year 11 Mulberry STEM Academy students worked in small groups of 3–4 students to complete their Silver CREST Award project.
The focus of the project was to design, build and test a model catamaran boat to determine what size, shape and structure sail would be the most effective.
Students first learnt the basics of report writing including how to cite and reference their research, as well as how to structure a report. The final stage was the write up in which students collected and analysed their data to complete their final report.
