Forty-six of our amazing Mulberry STEM Academy scholars from Mulberry Academy Shoreditch, Mulberry School for Girls and Mulberry UTC recently took part in the first session of a Python programming qualification.

Over the next 5 weeks, they will join three different teaching groups focusing on object-oriented programming, file handling or creating user-defined data structures depending on their prior knowledge.

The course also briefly covers using Tkinter and Pygame to bring in graphical elements. It goes way beyond what is needed for GCSE level programming and provides a solid starting point for A-Level!
